Crowd sourced tour guide

The Freedom Trail in Boston is a 2.5 mile twisting red line on the ground that passes by 16 notable, historical landmarks. There are guided tours available and also some explanatory markers along       the way, but the real action is in /freedom-trail.

Here you can find what the locals are saying about Faneuil Hall, like the best spots to grab lunch (spoiler: it’s Sultans Kitchen).  Or hear curiosities about Paul Revere’s house that aren’t in the brochure.  If you have localweb.is set to 100 yards these posts will pop up as you get close to the landmarks they were posted at.  It’s an organic, local experience that unfolds gradually on your phone, no app needed.

We are building the local web and sharing a new way to use it each day.
